I was born 1996 in Munich. I am a female artist who studies art at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Nürnberg since 2016.
This work was shown at the Jahresausstellung at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Nürnberg. The work is a big bronze hanger. The sculpture was placed outside on some gravel ground. It is not in the usual exhibition room, but still keeping in touch with it. A photograph which shows the sculpture as a performed object with my body, was shown in the classroom as reference to the sculpture outside. The work deals with interspaces and the fusion of body and object. The object is a sculpture and can also be a wearable object, that has huge influence on the body.
Reflections of my life
This work was first shown at the Jahresausstellung at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Nürnberg. The Room Installation took place in a small room, called the Mediathek. This room is usually used to watch films. For the work, everything that has been in the room for its purpose, was involved, all items were kept. The work consisted of an installation with and around the items of the room and also a performance, that took place there. In the installation, there were 2 videos, as well as an animated sentence which were projected and 2 videos which were shown on two installed Mac displays from the Mediathek. In the middle of the room was a microphone where the performance took place. There was also trash around. It was hand-washed plastic trash, partially in yellow trash bags, partially loose and connected to the technical stuff in the room. The performance was me, lip syncing to the song „Reflections of my life“ by the Marmalades. I was wearing a mustache whilst performing. The installation and the performance are connected and needed for the work. The work deals with the appropriation of something useless and its producer and the splintered relationship between them.
This work was shown at die Vitrine at the Hauptbahnhof Nürnberg. It is a narrow showcase outside the Central station. The Installation consisted of two sitting figures on plastic chairs. The figures had no head and they wore my own winter clothes. Their bodies consisted only of clothes, stuffed with other clothes and big wax hands. One figure also had a wax belly. Both held swords in their hands. The whole wall behind them was a spatial picture of antique columns. The work deals with the inertia of this generation and their forgotten power.
As far as the eye can see
This work was shown at the exhibition „on a scale of many“ in the Ausstellungshalle as part of the Jahresausstellung at the Akademie der bildenden Künste Nürnberg. The work was a big photography of four interlaced legs. Upon the alu-dibond surface some ink drawings on post-its were placed. These drawings on post-its are one of my oldest creative practices. The work deals with love and the questions around it and what comes after. To handle one of the biggest feelings known to us and trying to organize it and the urge to pin it down.
